The Video Mapping Festival returns for a 3rd edition at Arenberg Mine Site, with 12 new creations to discover during 2 evenings! Monumental, immersive and vegetal video mapping, mapping on objects or paintings…
Take a nocturnal stroll through the heart of this historic site, following a new tour imagined by a dozen mapping artists as well as residents of La Porte du Hainaut during participative workshops.

► Coal looks like the night
Coal looks like the night, it’s dark, shiny and it contains an energy that goes back thousands of years.
This mapping creation is a poetic, fantastical vision of the path that symbolically links night and coal. It’s a hymn to the passage of time, to the vaults that form the sky and to those that dig beneath our feet.

Transformer Facade

► Axo’s odyssey
Axo is bogged down in her reef, dreaming of adventure and new things.
One fine day, a little mushroom wanders off and falls, bringing with it bits and pieces of its enchanted forest. Axo, curious, decides to embark on an odyssey to bring it back to its habitat. Once back on the surface, she discovers a brand new world opening up to her.

A delicate lyrical song calls out the names of flowers and invites the paintings to jump out of the frame! This video mapping, inspired by the life and work of the painter Séraphine, invites you to plunge into the raw and shimmering universe of the incredible Senlis artist.
