Every year, as part of the opening of the Video Mapping Festival, Rencontres Audiovisuelles present IBSIC, the annual international reference event dedicated to the video mapping industry, attended by the greatest names in the field: artists, producers, technical industries, festivals and venues, local authorities, etc.

For 3 days, IBSIC brings together about 40 speakers and 400 participants, from more than 30 countries.

This year, IBSIC will focus on immersive mapping and mapping in museums.

 
PROGRAMME 2025
Themes: Immersive mapping, Mapping & museums
• Artist Talks: international artists present their careers and projects during conferences
• Case studies: presentations from key international players in the mapping sector, including a focus on an exemplary approach to sustainability
• Round tables: discussions on immersive mapping and mapping in museums
• Research and Studies: presentation of recent research or studies on the industry
• Working groups: around twenty topics discussed in groups, for a collective and prospective look at the future of mapping
• Talents Connection: speed meeting between artists, producers and promoters
• Video Mapping Awards: indoor screening of the best mapping productions of 2024
And plenty of informal time for networking between participants!

In addition to IBSIC, attend the opening of the Video Mapping Festival #8 in Lille: about 20 creations to discover through a tour in the city center!
