Focus on women’s work! All eyes on women creators who are still too little represented in the field. Claire Trollé, Rita Reis, Parisa Karimi and Nele Fack unveil their varied worlds to offer 4 resolutely different approaches to video mapping, including a new performance with live techno music by Lille artist VBK!
The video mapping by Nele Fack, Rita Reis and Claire Trollé were created during a creation residency.
▶︎ Cosmique Parade
The work evolves from the bottom of the facade towards the sky, symbolising the transition from the profane to the sacred. The visuals are partly developed from drypoint engravings, evoking the image and the printed medium.
Cosmique Parade combines fantastical creatures with an exploration of light and shadow, while highlighting the unique graphic details of the building’s facade.

Naturgemälde presents a celebration of the circle of life through a painting of nature.
It proposes a reflection on the natural world as a unifying sensory experience, through which our perception draws sensations that feed our imagination, functioning as a life support structure.
In this network of interactions, how do we achieve balance between biological and digital time?
How do we experience nature in a technological age?

This video mapping is a contemplative visual poem dedicated to beginnings and endings, to the chaos, the impermanence of all moments, to the complexity of love and life – past, present and possible. Traditional and digital animation techniques meet archive material and create a collage out of images, forms, colors and rhythm.

▶︎ Elemental Reverie
On top of La Voix du Nord, a golden statue stands proudly, depicting three women, each representing water, earth, and air. As the projections come to life, these symbolic figures illuminate, embodying the essence of their respective elements. Water flows, symbolising renewal and fluidity. Earth pulses, embodying stability and growth. Air dances with ethereal grace, carrying whispers of possibility and change.
Together, these statues and projections create a living tableau, underpinned by the atmospheric live beats of VBK.
Elemental Reverie serves as a tribute to the interconnectedness of the physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions of existence, inspiring audiences to reflect on their inner landscapes and embrace the universal essence that unites us all.
