International Residency / Video Mapping Contest / Video Mapping Awards
The 9th edition of the Video Mapping Festival kicks off on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th of April 2026, with a tour in Lille, followed by a tour in the Hauts-de-France region until October.
In this context, the Rencontres Audiovisuelles association, organiser of the Festival, is putting out 3 calls for entries addressed to artists, professionals and students in the following fields: video mapping, audiovisual creation, animated film, digital arts, set design, graphic design, video games, music, sound design, etc., for both French and international individuals.
► Video Mapping International Residency
Writing and production residency with the aim of producing a video mapping work for the opening of the Video Mapping Festival in Lille on 10th and 11th of April 2026.
The selected candidates will receive a grant to produce the work, they will take part in a 1-week writing residency in December 2025, and will then be supported in their production remotely.

► Video Mapping Contest
Video mapping competition on the facade of La Voix du Nord in Lille
The selected candidates will receive a grant to produce their work, which will be presented to the general audience and a professional jury during the opening of the Video Mapping Festival in Lille, on 10th and 11th of April 2026. The two winners (Grand Prize and Audience Prize) will receive a second financial prize to propose a creation in partner festivals.

► Video Mapping Awards
Competition to reward the best productions of 2025.
The mapping that have been selected in the pre-selection phase will be presented to the general audience and to a professional jury in the form of a screening, on Saturday 11th of April 2026 in Lille.
The awards are honorary.
