Monument video mapping
The Video Mapping Festival returns to Saint-Omer, this time with a video mapping on the remains of the Saint-Bertin Abbey, romantic ruins steeped in history set amidst greenery.
► Boléro
Boléro creates a dialogue between the history of Saint-Bertin Abbey and contemporary urban cultures. Transformed by light, movement and material, the ruin becomes a living space where networks, lines and transparencies evoke the connections and exchanges that define the city. The gradual repetition of the Boléro echoes these flows, which intersect and amplify until they form a collective energy. A meeting of heritage and contemporary creation, resolutely of the present day.
Creation and animation: Patrick Grandi

A composition freely inspired by Maurice Ravel’s Boléro (1928)
