Immersive video mapping & Monument video mapping

The Video Mapping Festival comes to Rombies-et-Marchipont! Discover an immersive video mapping inside the Saint-Rémy Church, exploring the themes of transformation and renewal, as well as several creations on the facade of a traditional local farmhouse, made during participative workshops with residents of Valenciennes Métropole.

► Awakening point
In a world going round in circles, so many mechanisms seem to be driving us further away from the hope of a redeeming renewal. Awakening Point offers a retrospective view, both sacred and profane, blending religious references with ambiguous observations on the history of our planet. The work echoes the structure of the opening verses of Genesis, infuses the visuals with science and reimagines the seventh day. It is an invitation to consider what humanity has made of the gift of life, but also to imagine what it can still make of it, at this moment of a possible “point of renewal”.
