Video mapping is not confined to monumental projection! Nowadays, artists dare to take over every volume, even the most unlikely ones… After having mapped famous monuments internationally, artist Filip Roca uses his abstract writing to bring forth a bit of magic into our everyday urban environment!

874 is a generative audiovisual site-specific projection mapping artwork that studies the light scatter from an object. In this case, 874 tiles of the Air vent of the Nouveau Siècle car park are treated as separate objects, where the dynamic interplay between light, space and sound happens. Monochromatic patterns evolve into vivid chromatic aberration phenomena, showcasing red, orange, yellow, green, and blue hues.
